I am a fan of the TV show "Ancient Aliens", primarily because of the mind-bending graphics and equally mind-bending ideas promulgated by the show. It's hard to buy into all of it, but the show was always interesting. The book presents a series of chapters by authors familiar to fans of the show. The "facts" and "evidence" behind the ancient alien theory seem even more threadbare when presented in book form, and lacking the distraction of the TV show's graphics. Some of the essays read like comic books-- but again, I read the book during work breaks and wasn't looking for anything too heavy.
This Official Companion book of the hit TV series Ancient Aliens is very well done, with well written articles by the show’s popular experts, and the quality of the pages allows detailed photography. For the inquiring mind, it’s a worthy purchase. A special thank you to series creator Kevin Burns for his continuing vision, and to all who’ve worked so diligently expanding humanity’s awareness of its mysterious past. It’s incredible how far we have come since Erich Von Daniken’s ‘Chariots of the Gods’, and the dedicated researchers who have increased our awareness of the amazing civilizations of antiquity. We may possibly be seeing our interactive future with other civilizations on other planets. So, why are we finally beginning to understand all these ancient and even modern day mysteries? One reason is that the human race had to mature as a species, and our technological revolution of the last century has allowed us to ‘see’ from a different perspective. We are also discovering that not everything was the resultant of ancient aliens because “they were the only ones capable of building it!†We are rediscovering techniques that were utilized back then to do these miracles of engineering. One thing we should all be proud of is to never underestimate the determination of a devoted humanity to do the impossible. All it takes is a couple hundred thousand human beings with a heartfelt passionate vision and resolve, add to the mix enough animals like elephants, horses, oxen and donkey’s, etc., and we can move mountains, literally. And we did to make the pyramids and the majority of other structures around the planet. Humanity has to realize we have always had a symbiotic relationship with many loving and incredibly advanced extraterrestrial/interdimensional species, and at specific points in history our interaction has been incredibly beneficial. And realistically, with the some of the malevolent ET species we have also encountered and recorded in stone and text, not so much, to put it mildly. This book is well worth reading to expand your awareness of what was once a taboo subject concerning the unknown possibilities of human-extraterrestrial interaction. Read this book with an open mind, watch the TV show and the seasonal DVD’s, educate yourself in science and religion, and your paradigm of existence will profoundly change. As I have read many books from the authors who have contributed to Ancient Aliens- the Official Companion Book, it’s easy to recommend them as companions to this one. Since religious texts and books have survived thousands of years, you may also find, to name a few, the following books in your knowledge quest to be beneficial, and available on Amazon. The Spaceships of Ezekiel by Josef F. Blumrich, the Yahweh Encounters: Bible Astronauts, Ark Radiations and Temple Electronics by Ann Madden Jones, and The Anunnaki Chronicles- a Zecharia Sitchin Reader edited by Janet Sitchin.
This is a great companion book for the series.It is also a good reference book to use while reading books by Graham Hancock, David Hatcher Childress, Christopher Dunn and others. The photographs are stunning and the book is just amazingly well done.
Incredible read. I am a huge fan of the show, but I wanted to looked for a more indepth description from the cast about sites, ancient civilizations and artifacts. I received all this and them some. Love the way they all are dedicated to bringing out the truth, the proof and the information that is vital for all of us to know. Giorgio and Kevin along with David Childress, Phillip Coppens, David Wilcock and the rest do a great job of providing valuable information for us to make a informed decision. Are there aliens really here now and in our ancient ancestors time?? After reading this book, there can only be one answer. It's up to you to decide, but be assured... the facts are there and the cast of AA will present the facts.
Entertaining and excellent short essays on various facets of the subjects detailed in the Ancient Alien television series. At least one of the fifteen essays was fairly poor, but some of the others more than made up for it. The section on Roswell and UFO research in general by Linda Moulton Howe was particularly intriguing and offered some information I'd not seen before. All in all, an engaging book that will make you think.
